Job Description:
At Parkway United Methodist Church, our mission is to Love people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Worship Leader will demonstrate a strong commitment to Christ and will allow himself/herself to be a humble conduit for God's Spirit in order to enable worshipers to experience an intimate relationship with God.

Parkway UMC worship music is primarily contemporary with occasional traditional pieces.

The Worship Leader will work directly with the Lead Pastor and Worship Coordinator

Skills
Excellent ability to connect and interact with the congregation during worship
Excellent vocal ability
Excellent acoustic guitar ability
Ability to work well with musicians (including student worship band)
Plan and lead worship
Pray aloud in public settings
Basic knowledge of sound and lyric presentation equipment
Love for a variety of music, especially contemporary Christian

Responsibilities
Lead worship 3 out of 4 Sundays per month (two morning services with rehearsal) and special services
Direct for Worship Team
