Job Description:
New Title: Creative Arts Director – Full Time

Focuses on planning and managing all aspects of worship at all services. Is the main point person for working with all music oriented staff (Music assistant, dir of inst music, organist, choral director). Provides leadership in contemporary service with voice and instrument. Is able to read music and transpose when necessary. Brings special attention to contemporary worship, but also offers support and leadership in graphic arts in all services. Oversees the graphic look of church's productions Also leads technology team and is focused on building up the ministry of music at FUMCO. Church is moving into new sanctuary and will have excellent sound, lighting, presentation resources. Our creative arts Director would lead us in making the best use of these new resources.

Qualifications: This person should be a professing Christian, open to various styles of music and willing to uphold Christian standards and morals in all the music programs of the church to the best of their ability. Must have the ability to read music. Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills. An authentic desire to lead others in a ministry of music. A formal education in music at the undergraduate level is desired.
