Job Description:
Cypress Avenue Baptist Church (CABC) in Carmichael, CA is a loving church family seeking someone who has been called to the ministry of worship through music & praise. Using the concept of Ministry Teams to ‘maximize the strengths' of our church members; we are seeking a person to develop & lead a music worship ministry team. This person will provide spiritual leadership in the planning of all aspects of CABC's music ministry.

Some requirements of this position are:
# A born-again Christian who shall become a member of our church.
# A heart for reaching lost and un-churched people.
# Prefer training in music and/or as a worship leader (including choir, praise team, praise band, soloist and congregational experience).
# Effective communicator with strong relational skills and an underlining commitment to prayer.
# Strong organizational and team building skills.
# Piano/keyboarding skills will be considered a plus.


This is a permanent bi-vocational (part-time) salaried position and compensation will be negotiable depending on skills and experience. The position does have the potential to become full-time in the future.
